great specs, excellent feature set. I have one concern though:
I had a chance to play with quite a few devices by Tech Fauth Wireless and I have to admit that build / design quality of these devices is not anyway near of what you would expect or even considered as "OK quality"
I would be very carefull about buying :
1. Toshiba device - remembering level of service they used to provide for former PDA devices.
2. Tech Faith Wireless designed and built device - after what I have experienced during test running of I-Mate SPL and some others.
I am not saying: DO NOT BUY. not at all. I am saying : one should investigate this further before final decision is made.
After all that said, I an very enthusiastic about Windows Mobile platform in general. _________________ Securing the future of communication. www.securegsm.com |

size of device is just too big...ok you get a nice screen resolution...but I prefer a device that I can put in my pocket without feeling it at every step...
processor speed doesn't seem that splendid too in the movie...
and the keyboard is so ugly!
the fingerprint/touchpad is nice
I'll wait for the HTC Kaiser. much smaller, GPS, good processor, good size, automatic keyboard opening mechanism, etc. I guess I can live without the fingerprint reader... |

For anyone other than the odd corporate client, the finger print reader is a gimmik. It looks like a very clunky way of moving about the screen also!
Specs on press release say bluetooth 1.2 !!! Why!?
Nice looking phone, but I think this is tosh's first go at this sort of device and as such it will be a learning experience for them. HTC has much more experience. I'll wait for the G900 V2 before I try a tosh!

It does look enormous, the weight is too much.
I do wonder if Toshiba is run by 7ft giants as their PDAs were rather bulky. |
