Is it a bird? A plane? A pocket pc? A phone? Well except for the bird and the plane it is all of that and more! To big to be carried in your pocket as the everyday mobile phone but fast and feature rich enough to re...

Its of great interest to know how secure those magnets are. You must do a video of yourself holding the device upside down by the keyboard, attacked only by the magnets. Also how about some example pictures from the 3 megapixel camera?

Why on earth is this not a Windows Mobile 6 handset?

Even so, it's an extremely tasty high-end mobile device, and is a worthy successor to the Universal - although I do hate the look and concept of the keyboard. It's also a great shame that they couldn't remove the vulnerable, power-hungry hard disk drive in favour of flash-based storage.

Still, do we know when this puppy is going on sale?

hi thelondonthing

i don't know why it comes with wm5 instead of 6 - i guess thats one reason why it isn't really available...

the keys are too soft for my taste and unlike the guy on the ameo box i would never walk around with the ameo magnetized on its keypad while holding the construction on the keyboard only!

t-mobile germany sold a hand full via its online shop but i've heard that there are non available anymore and noone can tell, when they will have stock again. that wouldn't help you anyway since you will not like to use a german ameo - i am just guessing ....

cheers, lutz

To be honest, they would sell more if they designed it into a filofax form factor. I.e. a leather organiser that opens up to be that device.

Mobile devices take a lot of knocks and some sales people and managers don't look after their devices.

Don't remember that G-sensor from the HTC presentation at 3GSM, will have to check my pictures;

As a side note, these picutres are really quite good, I'd say they're the best I've ever seen from a mobile device !

Apple would give you 2.5G like the iPhone has.

They worry about looks and so they cripple their designs to make them visually appealing and easy to use.

Lutzh, what I would really like to know is how's the screen outside? The specification says it's transmissive so it may not be bright. I want to use it mostly outside so this is really important to me. Thanking you in advance,

William
