| That's still 4 times heavier than a heavy smartphone. You'll look like a right plonker holding that up to your head (if it's possible without the CPU heat burning your ear off). |

It's not very interesting to come out with a new device featuring Windows XP.
Plus, the keyboard orientation is all wrong. I don't want an overgrown PDA, I want a light-duty tablet substitute. |

Technology for technology's sake.
Windows was never designed for a phone. The interface will be cumbersome to use on the move, Windows Mobile is bad enough as it is. |

Repeat after me, it's a ultra-mobile PC. It's as much a phone as my notebook computer. Which actually is a phone since it runs both Office Communicator and the X-Ten softphone. But that's for desk use via a USB handset or USB wireless headset. I don't hold my notebook to my ear, or make calls using my notebook while walking around.
You wouldn't stop carrying around your phone in favor of this device. |

So under realistic usage, that'll be more like 4-6 hours. Perfect for a phone! |
