Same old problem, in their fun contact app you choose add a contact and you are dumped back into the normal windows UI and need your stylus, not very fun. _________________ WiFiFoFum Pocket PC Wardriving

OK, so you expect finger-usable apps for everything? |

| Not to sound flip, but yeah. That is the "iPhone experience" and it'd be darn cool to have a complete integrated finger-toolset on Windows Mobile. Proof of concept is good, but a lone wheel never sold the car. |

Try the PocketCM contacts instead:
http://www.pocketcm.com/contact.php
It doesn't dump you out to the normal pages.
However, I must add that I'm all for more developers working on finger usable apps... any start is a good one! |

Finger scrolling now possible within Windows Mobile. It is still early in the development but I have tried it on my JASJAM and it works well. Doesn't interfere with programs like PocketCM.

| "Admitting defeat" - that's what all this iPhone for WM crap is all about and it's really bugging me. |

I can see why you think this. Lets face it windows mobile devices have had touch screens for ages yet it took the iPhone to force a rethink on how we use these devices. In this respect the iPhone is actually the best thing to happen to windows mobile. This is due to Microsofts lack of innovation on mobile devices at least HTC have tried to improve things with touch flo. Lets hope this forces Microsoft to have a serious rethink and radical redesign, however I feel all they will produce is windows mobile 7 with many an iPhone similarity much in the same manner as IE 7 is very similiar to firefox.
It would be great if Microsoft created a complete abstract ui layer which could be completely or partially replaced. Possibilities would be endless for the real innovators small software houses and individual developers. |

| The Contacts Application is a good attempt but not for me. Takes too long to open and if kept memory resident to avoid delay in opening then consumes too much memory of my already memory deficient HTC Touch |
