This works very, very well! I just installed it and stepped outside my home wtih my AT&T Tilt in hand. I told Live Search to use current GPS position, it found it and displayed it on the map very quicklyi. I then told it what I was looking for and it displayed a list of merchants in that category quite quickly. I selected one and instructed to show me on the map how to get there from 'here'. Done.
Glad to confirm that the Tilt GPS wasn't locked down by AT&T though they would like you to believe that is the case.
Who needs a $100 software package!?
Still thinking about Garmin's upcoming 'Mobile XT' release though. |
