You are right. For so many months we are just seeing product announcements and website designs from I-mate but no ground reality. Then the announced products get fizzled out for example we hear less and less of the Ultimate which had the tablet PC type design.
Anyways the 8502 looks like a good design and as far as specifications go looks like an ideal design with nothing left to desire. Again my worries are who is the manufacturer and how will be the build quality, of course if it ever gets built.
But if it does come out and the subsequent reviews show that it is a reliable and bug free device I will not hesitate to buy it instantly. To me this will be a TyTn II killer so watch out HTC

why HTC TyTN II killer? 8502 has no VGA display and has no scroll-wheel.. and no tilted display, so why HTC TyTN II killer? |

| On paper, the 9502 is the more promising one feature wise. Let's hope this time the products would actually be released and not vapourware. Time will tell. |

EJR thanks for correcting me. I meant the 9502 and not the 8502.
So what do you think, can the 9502 be termed as a TyTn II killer??
Thanks |

Well, again wait until we actually see the shipping product. Indeed from the picture if it is to be trusted, the keyboard is very small if it is about the width of the screen. |

I prefer 8502. infact I am writing on one now. You are right, 9502 kbd is a bit small. Much depends on how you hold it. Nice extra features in the software from the manufactor also. |

The 9502 actually had me doubting my TyTN II for a moment there, but all things considering (no tilt and a significantly smaller keyboard) I don't think the only real difference (VGA) is enough to sway me, if it comes out.
Good looking device though. |
