So its possible they have ported web kit to windows ce. However that doesn't mean they will come up with a good browser by any means. Its gonna have to have a good UI, e.g. no scrollbars, easy way to zoom. Use IE favourites so they can sync as normal. Support https, cookies, logins. Support custom url handling such as mailto:, map:// mms:// etc.... They have their work cut out if they are going to make an actual browser. I agree 100% wholly with your assessment! Particularly the zooming in/out issue must be solved well... and they failed to prove that they can do it. |
