We have reviewed ETEN Glofiish X800 previously but here comes yet another review and their tests in USA (AT&T Wireless) show that HSDPA is working fine - they were able to achieve speeds faster than 384 kbps (i....

Very interesting! However, I don't see any snapshot of HSDPA850 speed test in progress in the review! More importantly, my experience tells a different story! HSDPA850 still doesn't work on mine even with the 402 ROM and 3G modem update!
Sorry, I just don't believe that review is telling the truth! |

| 64 MB RAM just not acceptable on a high end device. So Eten X800 is supposedly not for me. |

I believe it
My X800 shows an 'H' the on the web in the UK on 02 and it seems pretty quick. I am sure the problems before were just as a result of buggy firmware, mine arrived with the latest 402 firmware. |

I call bullcrap on this one...
How can every X800 owner who lives in an area with 850mhz HSDPA report only getting UMTS speeds? Does msmobiles have a super-duper version of Eten's X800? I myself, and MANY others have had nothing but problems with the X800 download speeds, getting 3G at best, NOT 3.5
ETEN HAS ADMITTED THEIR IS A PROBLEM WITH THE 850MHZ HSDPA BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO FAR THEY HAVE NOT FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please, msmobiles, post a video showing the X800 getting these speeds and I will shut up forever.
p.s. For everyone else using 2100MHZ HSDPA, save your dumb comments for the mirror... i.e. "But, it works fine for me in the UK, France, Romania, Asia, etc!" |
