Apple iPhone is not on the market and Microsoft is not innovating fast enough, so manufacturers of Windows Mobile phones are forced to innovate themselves. Firstly HTC has released HTC TouchFLO for their HTC Tou...

| How do HTC expect people to stay loyal to their brand considering their current driver fiasco. To me it looks like HTC should spend some effort in dealing with their current consumers expectations and issues. |

simple: check if the new devices have proper/fast drivers and if not, don't buy if you don't like it!
I don't think that HTC will be retrospectively releasing drivers for old devices, but rather they will bring out new devices with fast graphics drivers.
HTC Manila - as you can see in the video - is very slow and it really needs hardware acceleration so I think that HTC will have bigger motivation to release devices with drivers that take advantage of hardware acceleration. |

Not everyone gets the chance to demo a device before purchase and rely on online reviews. Not one of which picked up on the issue that clearly exists. Looking at the petition their are a lot of consumers who will not purchase HTC devices again no matter their merits because of the poor customer support.

The Kaiser and Cruise are currently in production, the Cruise was released only a month or so ago at most and the Kaiser last August or so. So they cannot be classed as old devices but current top of the line devices. Consider how Apple handled customer issues on the iPhone in less than one year they have had 3 updates dealing with issues raised by consumers. Then look at HTC's reponse.

Though how many consumers will be motivated to purchase from a manufacturer who actually deals with their issues. I cannot believe HTC could have let this fiasco happen. Lets hope a more customer orientated manufacturer of WM devices makes it onto the scene until then windows mobile will never be a serious contender. |

What good are crude hacks by HTC, Microsoft needs to improve the OS.
Nokia announced S60 touch, Microsoft is seriously falling behind. I doubt you'll see a radically better OS anytime soon. Microsoft is too focussed on trying to win online. |
