Next week, during Mobile World Congress 2008, we have scheduled a meeting with Jon Tetzchner, CEO of Opera.

Now Opera is announcing officially that their new Opera Mobile 9.5 will be showcased at that event!...

Skyfire, Deepfish and PIE forget about them opera is truly the best windows mobile browser. The video shows heavy java script based pages such as google maps being viewed. This release takes the Opera 8.xx wields the excellent user interface of iPhones safari. I wonder how it will perform on HTCs devices which have no hardware graphic acceleration though.

I am sure it will be fast enough for comfortable browsing although these fancy fluent screen transitions are really nicely done...

yeah though its the nice screen transitions that will be effected by the graphics driver and lack of hardware acceleration, also the Kaisers touch screen is not the best. This is very similar to safari on the iPhone (coincidence, unlikely) and it not only looks good but works extremely well, though its vital that it performs as well as safari on the iPhone which is very smooth an responsive. Lets cross our fingers.
