As a man, your father will give you all kinds of advice on finances, following your dreams, relationships and even ---. Yet rarely is anybody given any instruction on how to actually meet or generate interest in women. (Definetly something my father himself struggled with!) It is really cool that Nick at his peers are really helping men with these challenges in a really practical way! I really enjoyed the part where he talks about how to increase the chances of her seeing you again, because let's face it, we've all got numbers from women before who didn't want to follow through on seeing us again.

That conference looks interesting. Wish I could go!

What a hilariously bad advertisement thinly-disguised as a news article. As a woman, I have to tell you that I would be completely turned off by any guy using any of the "scientific" methods recommended here. My personal favorite would have to be "A guy on the street with a funny sign with your comment �be careful tonight, the crazies are out� is light and interesting, doesn�t betray too much interest, and keeps yourself in her head." That doesn't really make much sense, but it would sure keep you in my head—as someone to avoid. Hilarious.

BTW, Word-style smart quotes don't work too well on the web…

I think alcedes is on the right track. A lot of these techniques and "systems" are designed to give shy or awkward men the confidence (and yes, sometimes 'lines') to approach and start talking to women. If the silly phone in my pocket can help me do that, so much the better!
