A couple years ago Sony Ericsson's PR manager from London sent lawyers against us because we dared to publish April Fool's joke that Sony Ericsson is releasing Windows Mobile phone.
Since we are 1.5 months awa...

Would have been nice if they let Mr. Anderson get his words out before the people kept interrupting him.
Looks nice, really nice. _________________ Aaron J. Walker

it was many-to-one meeting and some journalists from behind were asking also questions without waiting so it was a mess indeed. |

I love the phone. I just wish they were more prepared to show us what went on in the UI, beyond the panel interface. Because the other stuff looked cool.
I also thought everything felt more raw than it should have been. The whole press conference wasn't smooth.
But I can't wait to see this. I'm not generally excited by more WinMo phones (usually because of small screens, outdated hardware look, bad specs), but the X1 changes that. Can't wait to see it. |

Those are some horrible videos.
Everything is shaky, you keep abusing the zoom button it makes people sea sick. You don't focus on anything for more than 3 seconds.
What happened to your use of tripod? Was it another lie?
You should be banned from ever going to a mobile event, you shoot disgraceful videos! |

I was really disappointed at how little Mr. Anderson really knew about the device and how little they were able to demo outside of the panel interface.
The biggest problem with WinMo devices is the memory leaking and inability to recover lost memory from programs that do not close out correctly due to poor memory management functionality. Depending on how much of that onboard memory is allocated to Program memory, this device will not be any more stable than other WinMo devices out there now. Really, WM 6.0 on a new device comming out second half of '08???? Why not with 6.1 which at least has better memory management features and better native browser. _________________ Ignoring Troll Behavior in Pursuit of Deterring Disinformation and Off-Topic, Antagonism.

Strangely, having 128 MB RAM solves that problem, just like it did for the Nokia N95.

What device are you using with 128 MB RAM and how many times a day do you need to reset it?
I have heard several people state that they are needing to reset their devices once a day to once every two days in order to use the device reliably. These same people are using the latest HTC devices ranging from the Touch, Touch Dual and AT&T Tilt all with 128 MB Program Memory. _________________ Ignoring Troll Behavior in Pursuit of Deterring Disinformation and Off-Topic, Antagonism.
