Ok that's pretty cool. However, how many channels are available in this format? I would say, get yourself a SlingBox with a good 3G connection and you can watch whatever channel is available on your cable or satellite provider.

most operators in europe don't offer unlimited data and with slingbox you have to have broadband connection with good upstream and keep it on whole time.

in europe many good channels are available on DVB-T, in UK: all major ones.

Great. DVB-T is also the digital TV standard in Australia. And that's what my home TV is tunned to. I hope Gigabyte will bring this phone to Australia and indeed more WM phones should have DVB-T as a feature of the phone.

I do a lot of interestate business travel and it would be great to be able to watch TV wherever I am.

Don't expect to sit in front of the mobile watching TV all day. And given that these phones all support USB charging (wall adapter, computer, car), it shouldn't be too difficult to find some place to charge the phone if really required.
