Congratulations to Msmobiles on receiving an invitation to the Mobius 2008 conference. Is this site no longer considered a tabloid site by Microsoft (an excuse previously used by Msmobiles in the past for not receiving an invitation)? That's good news!

In the past, this site used to complain about Microsoft compensating individuals to attend Mobius either through paying attendee travel expenses, meals, or by providing generous giveaways. Is that no longer the practice at the Mobius conference or is Msmobiles more willing to accept this type of Microsoft compensation than it was in the past?

At least we now know why nobody attending the HTC event in London asked any awkard questions about the Kaiser, or pointed out to our apparently new best friend Horace why the diamond has such a horrible lag and did not even ask when or what the new Kaiser update will include. Peter Chou and Horace where all present and there was no better time to press the issue. Until the windows mobile community actually show HTC this type of misadvertising and lack of support for their consumers is not on they will continue profiteering. Its just unlikely witht he current windows mobile press who have shown no backbone or objectivity whatsoever.

I have no problem with getting freebies but letting them interfere with your objectivity is something else altogether.

I was playing with HTC Touch Diamond and it didn't have lag but maybe some apps were running in background or so.

Note that I have asked hard questions about issues and scooped info that soon, i.e. this week, ROM upgade will be released by HTC that will address some graphic/performance issues, see here for more:

objectivity of msmobiles.com is unshaken and you people feel free to write anything you want!

The lag is certainly clear in the videos I have seen. Here and on other sites. Others and as I have clearly shown other non windows mobile websites have also pointed this out. The fact you have not see lag as on other web sites clearly shows you missed something.

Though HTC are like the boys who cried wolf, according them it was to be released a few months ago. also its not going to be a graphics driver update and everyone knows this.

Allowing us o write what we want is the best feature of this site. Freedom of speech and all that and I appauld you for it. I have seen on other large UK websites threads being closed because reviewers of the Kaiser where criticised. Though I think a lot of Kaiser owners feel conned and believe nearly all windows mobile websites are at least afraid to be critical even if constructive of HTC and Microsoft in order to keep MVP status or get early prerelease devices. Clearly you are getting a diamond and personly I feel that makes it impossible for me and to believe any review you do as objective or impartial. Though at least you declared it as such others even tried to claim they purchased their own prereleased devices and recieved no freebies when I know that is not the case.
