It is a pity that Opera Mobile 9.5 (see also: our video interview with CEO of Opera about this browser) is not yet widely available... but at least owners of HTC phones will be able to enjoy it - the most mobile bro...

i still perfer Opera mobile 8.65!
on 8.65, if u want to go somewhere in a webpage, u just click on it and go!
on 9.5, it showing the whole pages with text so small,
u have to do 2 thing!
1. click on it to zoon in,
then click on it to go to a link!
much easier with 8.65! |

Opera 9.5 has no keyboard navigation support, which is probably another reason why it is only available on a touch-screen-only device. Plus it's got that boring black theme which is not changeable and only looks good on HTC's Touch brand devices.
They need to make another version that works well with normal Windows Mobile devices. |

I keep switching between Opera 8.6, NetFront 3.5 Beta, and SkyFire .6.
I find SkyFire totally unacceptable with regards to scrolling/refresh speed, even on a solid 3g connection. NetFront 3.5 is pretty cool and runs well however, it has a BIG problem with processor/memory resources practically slowing down the entire device when the app is in the background.
I am anxiously waiting the release of Opera 9 for WM so I can standardize on just one browser! _________________ JNGold

I have been using OM 9 beta Build 405 for over 1 month and found it very good. Two days ago I tried the OM 9 Build 780 which was extracted from HTC Diamond. This Build 780 is SO lag and SO slow on my TyTn II. Don't know whether it is because of the Tytn ii or what. I changed back to the Build 405 and enjoy its super smooth scroll/zoom over the Build 780.
I only use Opera Mobile 9 Beta Build 405 and Opera Mini 4.1 now.
Both very good. |

Opera 9.5 from the reviews I have seen looks very slick, I should have a review of the beta up soon on our site so that should be interesting to see. _________________ Chris

naughty naughty! Official version of Opera Mobile 9.5 is not released yet and all those unofficial versions are leaks that are not final.
Opera promised me to give me official version as soon as it will be released so stay tuned but please don't whine about unofficial beta version! It is not ready yet! |
