| Wow, that's the second development related article that I've seen posted here in the past few weeks. much to early to call it a trend, but I think the devlopment related articlees are interesting (full disclosure: I am a developer by profession and by hobby). |

| And yet, still no barcode READERS for phones with cameras? There are a lot that do QRCode and 2D barcodes, but still none that read standard zebra-stripe line codes (none that I'm aware of). MS AURA was one, but apparently that one used Microsoft's own servers to decode the barcode, which means it's useless now. |

That sounds like it is something worth making then. Though one that that I hate is that the camera on Windows Mobile Phones is only accessible through a dialog (at least when using .Net on a Windows Mobile phone). While the reasoning is good (to prevent stealth programs from taking pictures ) it does kinda interfere with the potential to do other things with the camera without the break in continuity caused by your application hiding while the camera capture dialog displays. |
