We were present, on location, at the Microsoft's press conference where UMPC was unveiled for the first time ever and then we asked a question "when will multi-touch be coming to Microsoft powered mobile devices?...

I was at the Microsoft REMIX 08 in Australia last week and at the mobile session, MS staff was showing Sliverlight running on HTC TyTNII. MS staff said that it was still early work and no timeframe on when it would happen yet. Nor was it confirmed whether it would be Silverlight 1 or 2 when it does come out. However, the commitment is there.
