Just the fact that it is a first attempt by a company doesn't mean it would be rubbish. You probably wouldn't call Apple's first phone be rubbish, I believe.

Well, actually Apple's first one IS rubbish. I know it because I own a 16 GB iPhone Wink

But nevertheless, the Phone is manufactured by HTC with Sony's Fingers on them. The Treo is also a much better device when it comes to quality, although it's produced by HTC. And Sony has great user-interfaces and a lot of good ideas. I think the XPeria will rock Smile I'm also waiting for it. It will replace my HTC Kaiser (TyTN II) and HTC Universal (MDA Pro).

Now I'm waiting only for a goot replacement for my HTC Excalibur (o2 XDA Cosmo).

Check out Dave's review of a production device. Check out the lag just turning on the device! My Cruise seems like a speed demon compared to this piece of junk. Looks like HTC screwed up...again.
