What is going on? Grey unofficial imports or regular shipments? Should you buy or should you wait?

I recived the Daimond from my eXpansys pre-order yesterday.

What is stunningly wrong with it is that I cannot manually rotate the screen. The tilt sensor only functions with the Album application so trying to read a PDF in Landscape is impossible.

Am thinking or returning it as it is laggy and performs very badly when on an HSDPA (or regular 3G).

Manual rotation for Adobe is in Tools, View, rotate left or right.
But the device is still very odd. All the font sizes are inconsistent on the screen, context menus and softkey menus. A bad, rushed build.

Can you confirm if it also includes Flash Lite? And which version is it? version 2 or version 3? Can you watch the full You Tube site?

Shipping version:
CE OS 5.2.19588 (Build 19588.1.1.4)

Adobe Flash Lite: 2.1
Player Version: 7,2,14,99
Client Version: 1,0,1,9

You Tube seems to work, the search feature works well, nearly all the videos played. Not 100%, about 80%. I am getting used to the Connecting... dialogue. Also the UI is messy, but more in keeping with the TouchFlo methods.

Whatever you do do not let the device keylock go on and enter powersave mode with YouTube running.

And as usual I have not been able to get GPS to work despite half an hour scanning an open sky. Qualcomm chips simply do not work as advertised. CPU speed is apalling and graphics sluggish at best. Have scratched the screen already (although it does come with a screen protector in the box). An engineering marvel, but not their best device. The Touch was much better executed overall.

I wonder if any of these have CMDA capability and it's just cripped through hardware. Probably not.
