It is yet another review made in USA with European model so 3G (UMTS/HSDPA) was not tested and thus this review is incomplete and the information about battery life is not reliable...

That Fast Sleep mode cannot be disabled (other than terminating the display service totally). It makes the deviec useless, especially in a call. It constantly resets the backlight timeout to 10 seconds, or 2 in a call.
Also if you enable device lock and the device times out with the backlight, when you try to enter the password again it will fail 100% the first time after entering one or two characters.
VERY poor software quality control on the released ROM. |

Sorry about not having 3G in the States.
The fast sleep is annoying especially if you have a password on your voicmail and have to enter more numbers after it's connected. I disabled it using Kaiser Tweak, which has a registry edit for it. It doesn't shut off the screen so quickly anymore. It's also annoying how pressing the call end button doesn't end the call if the screen is in sleep mode. You have to press it twice.
However, some of the other features, like flipping the phone over to silence a ring tone, removing the stylus to turn it on, and the vibration when a call is connected, are really excellent additions! |

| Thanks so much for the tip, but Kaiser Tweaks doesn't work for disabling sleep mode on thre Daimond. every time the screen lock kicks in it resets the display timeout to 10 seconds... |
