| Besides the iPhone 2G being far more responsive (which was a given).. I was surprised that the iPhone could actually fit more of a webpage onto its screen compared to the Diamond despite its lower screen resolution and the always present tab bar at the top! |

Simple. Zoom out and you would fit more on the screen and zoom in and you would see the details on part of the page. This has nothing to do with resolution. Higher resolution means the screen is crisper, so easier on the eyes. I didn't believe this myself until one day I have 2 devices sitting side by side.
