It requires Silverlight, has no search function and lists only less important programs (example: the best GPS program TomTom is not listed at all in GPS category!). It also is not running inside of Windows Mobile ph...

If you read the article and comments of where this post originated, you'll see that the Microsoft Product Catalog for Windows Mobile has existed long before anything like that from Apple, so you can't really say it's an attempt to imitate the iPhone App store. If it was, it probably would have been designed to run on Windows Mobile.
What we're looking at is just another desktop website. |
