Previously Google Maps had capability to show driving directions from point A to point B. Now with version 2.2, available also as native application for Windows Mobile (not Java midlet!), Google adds ability to find...

It's not showing the best bus for that route either! There is a free service between Reading Station (stop SA) and TVP that is faster as it doesn't stop as much on the way.

The Thames Valley Park services run:
Monday to Friday inclusive, excluding Public Holidays
Between 07:00 and 19:00
Every 8-10 minutes during the morning, lunchtime and evening peak periods
Every 20 minutes during off peak periods |

yes, the operation of transit directions in Google Maps is particularly sloppy in UK but the reason lies also in UK itself: in several countries on the continental Europe there is only 1 or 2 operators of public transport while in UK there are many many many... |
