i had actualy noticed that i can use resco explorer to see other devices on the AT&T network to. thought about doing a port scan to see if anything were visible beyond the device itself. i dont know of many mobile applications that listen on network ports. _________________ MCAD .Net , MCTS (Web, Windows) |

good idea ! but I doubt it will bring any result. Only if given uses explicitly starts something in their Windows Mobile phone, you would be able to see it. I know that some servers are available for Windows Mobile, including VNC server, FTP server, HTTP server...
so if you have 2 Windows Mobile phones or a friend, you could try it out - whether actually packets would be transmitting... |

Yeah, I doubt it will too, but you never know what you will find. I've only seen other tilts visible on the AT&T network. I can tell they are tilts because the default name for those phones is "HTC-8900" and I see a lot of devices with that name. I know that I've seen the other phones in Georgia and in New Jersey. I am in Ohio today and I can't see any other phones! I don't know if there's a regional factor involved in this or if this is just a coincident. _________________ MCAD .Net , MCTS (Web, Windows) |
