HTC Touch Pro is coming to Australia this Oct 2nd. The Australian version will support 850/2100 MHz 3G network. I suppose it would be compatible with the US AT&T network. _________________ Proud owner of HTC Touch Diamond and i-mate JASJAM. |

I had conjectured that the Diamond would work with T-Mobile USA not to long ago. Physboy corrected me and gave some insight to potential comatibility. Long story short the best one can hope for is spotty 3G service in certain areas since AT&T's 850 3G network is not nation wide. If 3G is a personal requirement then it sounds like this isn't the device to consider for the USA market.
Thus far the only hint of the Diamond that the USA has seen is a leaked document that shows that Sprint (a CDMA carrier with the worst customer service rating of the 4 US carriers) will be getting it, not even so much as a rumor on the Touch Pro. _________________ MCAD .Net , MCTS (Web, Windows) |
