no, rename it to diamondpro.com is better!
all he does is hype and pump on htc touch diamond pro!
here is my problems with touch diamond pro!

1. wont work with USA 3G! (there will be a USA version, but will that version works with europe 3G?)
2. 2.8 VGA screen! if i wanted 2.8" VGA, i already got it! it' call Imate 9502!

better not compare the 9502 to the Pro. Much as I'm not a HTC fanboy myself, I need to admit that the Pro is MUCH better than the i-mate phone.

That is a bit unfair. The editor does all the time complaint about features that HTC didn't implement, like the 3.5 mm plug for audio. and he also complaints about MS WM a lot, like lack of multi-touch, etc...

I do quite like to read the articles with the colorful language being used. Not boring at all. Razz

The 9502 is a huge beast with not so great specs in the current market. We've had this discussion before, and the Touch Pro trumps it in *all* respects. That said, the promos are annoying... This is supposed to be a news site right?

Are you talking about the CDMA version or has there been an announcement for a 3G GSM version that supports US bands?

Sad news (if true). GHaldf a year ago, at MWC, the S-E folks stated the X1 would be their first WinMo phone, with a lot more to follow.

With SE's exiting the phone market altogether, we (not just WinMo, but also Symbian folks) lose one of th ebest innovators. We will, then, only have the handsets of HTC :/

come on!!

how can you say it WILL be the last? the man is talking about sony quitting the cooperation with ericsson.
no word on the X1. i doubt that much will change at all.

SE phones where always primarily ericsson. remember the sony phones before they joined forces with ericsson? the CMD-Z5 for example? great phones but very different from what ericsson did with their T28 and the like.
basically sony quit producing phones and slapped their name on the ericssons.
of course the introduced their brands and touches like the walkman designation and the memory stick slot...
even current SE phones are just evolved ericsson designs, not sonys.

if ericsson continues on their own, all the better.

How can one not turn to the HTC Pro now that Samsung has dropped the ball chasing the consumer iPhone?

The SCH-i760 would have been a nice follow on to the SCH-i730 in about 2004.
