| I find this to be a great site for Windows Mobile information (good and bad). But at the same time there are editorial comments here that sometimes indicate a lack of understanding of the software development process (let alone the insanity that is food chain in the mobile phone market). Take the comments about Live Mesh as a perfect example. It has NOT shipped on ANY platform (neither Windows or Mac) as of yet, but the site is beating on Microsoft about "teasing" over the Windows Mobile client. Huh? Live Mesh is beta software. They keep adding clients. The fact that they have a demo of the WM client is fantastic. If they don't show such a client they get beat on for ignoring WM, if they do show it they get beat on for "teasing". About the only thing Microsoft could do right is invent a time machine, go back to 2005, and introduce WM7 plus all the other goodies (Live Mesh etc.) everyone is waiting for. And even then I suspect this site would ding Microsoft for not going back to 2004 to do it. |
