X1 will not have all US 3G bands but Americans version of HTC Touch HD will have them, so maybe you should reconsider? |

The HD was not "leaked" it was officially announced. And why should the XPERIA be inferior to it?
- better video recording
- more flexible UI including SDK
- smaller in Size
- qwerty
- a DPAD
- a Foto LED
Speaking of Cameras: Megapixels are useless if your lense is bad and/or if you are not good in Software. The 3Mpix K800 trumps most of todays 5mpix solutions so lets wayt for actuall comparison shots before premature judging just by megapixel statements
PS: still got problems with Finland?

Actually, According to official SE Experia X1 site: http://www.sonyericsson.com/x1/default.aspx?cc=us&lc=en it will come in two 3G flavors - 850/1700/1900/2100 and 900/1700/1900/2100. With all due respect, I do believe SE would change spec's on the website if they were changed in the phone. But, hey, I maybe wrong, right? |

Well it was leaked before it was officially announced.
After seeing all these videos of the "panels," I'm still completely unconvinced. They all seem useless, and SE seems to stress the Panel SDK allowing for others to come up with stuff-- but what could a Panel do that a normal WM app couldn't?
SE also doesn't seem to have any other touch optimizations in the UI- it's just the standard WM 6.1 Pro with the useless Panels on top (vs. HTC's TouchFlo 3D or Samsung's touch interface).
The Touch HD is much thinner than the brick-like X1, which is very important in my books (e.g. pocketability). Would've liked a D-Pad on the HD though. |
