Send it in US 3G form and we'll buy it!
No really
We will
I've purchased 3 HTC phones now (8125, 8525, 8925) and was ready to buy the HTC Touch Pro through Cingular/AT&T but when I saw the HTC Touch HD I'm not so sure I want the Touch Pro anymore. Bring me the Touch HD in US spec please! |

I know, I believe you too, but HTC has said that HD is not coming to USA in American version - see the news item again and remark/link about USA! |

According to HTC's twitter page if they were to try to prepare a US version by the time it was released it would be old news. So don't let any news on the Touch HD influence your decision. Bottom line is it will not be available in a usable 3G form for North Americans. _________________ MCAD .Net , MCTS (Web, Windows) |

[RANT ON] It's really a shame that HTC America has stuck their head in the sand on this one. And there is an equal amount of blame to be shared by the US carriers. How we can get to this point in the GSM world and not have a unified standard on 3G is simply mind-boggling. Yes, I know that frequencies are auctioned here in the US and that dollars talk. But once, again, US carriers can't seem to find their own way in a unified world while our European and Asian counterparts enjoy advances in technology at a regular pace. Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile should all be embarassed by their epic failures to comprehend the wireless market from a "world" view. As the CTO for a major US retailer, it's just sad to see this happen. There is so much we could provide to our customers if our US wireless providers would pull their head out of their backsides. | I'm tired of waiting for a cool phone like the HTC Touch HD to come to the USA. The HTC Advantage will never come here either. Americans only get phones with tiny screens. I have been waiting too long for a phone that beats the specs of my old Dell Axim X51v. I ordered an Android G1. |
