What is worse than being in a sinking ship? Is when the captain doesn't know or fail to achknowledge the ship is sinking. I agree that MS needs to wake up and have a hard look at their WM business. If they honestly believe that they are doing great, then there really is no hope at all.

Good Times, Bad Times. MS's been through them before, and was able to come out and be industry leader, always. And personally, There's nothing wrong with MS business model. It is funny that the same people who screams their lungs off that MS "ecosystem" is too close, now complain that it is NOT close and proprietary enough. Sounds to me that it is just a new, temporary trend set up by money grabbing Apple and now joining it Google, which, to be perfectly honest, copy their G1 functionality from iPhone. As long as MS stays out of these trends and just do what it does, it is safe and secure. "If it works, don't fix it!" But of course, Do I want them to pay more attention to a regular consumer, and not just a corporate IT Executive? Definitely, YES!
