There is nothing worse than fragmentation of platform! Here Sony Ericsson releases Facebook panel for X1 but still there is no original Facebook application for Windows Mobile available:

There is a Facebook Application for HTC.

It's just not working yet Wink

why do you think this can not happen to Android?
it is an open system, and if somebody wants to build something like SE Panels atop of it, he/she is free to do so.
