More utter tripe from EJR - having difficulty reading again?.
It's not just for WiFi, it's for Web & WiFi - i.e. GPRS data too.

Your paranoia is reaching unknown bounds of late. You really need to lay off that *** vodka. De facto anti-WM? Guess what, O2 they don't offer the Bolt-On for any of their other phones either! I suppose in your eyes that makes O2 de facto anti Nokia, Sony, LG and Samsung?

The Web+WiFi package is only available for "the original iphone", you clot, because WiFi is the only way iPhone 2G users have of getting faster data. That's why the O2 Cloud tie-in was done in the first place, remember?

Hardly any 3G users would pay an unlimited WiFi package, so it wouldn't make commercial sense for O2 to offer one.

wrong you are! Please see this page:
http://o2.co.uk/iphone/paygo

... where you can clearly observe that prepaid iPhone 3G (not original 2G) also (!) gets that unlimited Wi-Fi.

Furthermore O2 was previously a staunch supporter of Windows Mobile phones but lately it is treating them badly - and *this* was my point.

Chill out and drink some alcopop maybe?
