Palm's app store app is no more than a shortcut to the Palmgear store. It is a joke... The so-called app is about 30kb and does nothing but call up Pocket Internet Explorer:

"Fraud" might be an instance of hyperbole in this instance but it didn't meet my expectations. I guess Apple has just redefined what it means to call something an "App Store."

yes, sir! App Store = a) a program, not a website, b) it takes care also for updating to new versions too, not just simple downloads |

| This is just a quick coded cash-in that will give Windows Mobile a bad name. The last thing we need is 50 different poorly implemented app stores charging huge amounts of commission. Let's all wait for SkyMarket and do things properly. If the WM app store is not at least comparable with the iPhone app store in terms of user experience and functionality then quite honestly ... why bother? |
