T-Mobile Dash Black available now!

It is a very low-end smartphone, but hey, T-Mobile USA is a carrier for cheap skates, so it is very much compatible with T-Mobile USA:

I wish that T-Mobile USA would just sell themselves off already. They are trying to squeeze EVERY last penny out of their SH*T technology infrastructure and I for one am tired of it as well as tired of hearing from them! Especially with these LAME attempts at distorting their TERRIBLE data service along with their crappy handset selection.

For crapps sakes it is now 2009 and these bafoons are just now releasing 3 NEW EDGE ONLY devices. The Dash, a new version of the Shadow and another boring version of the BB Curve. All wonderfully decked out in 2G. Give me a break!

I agree with Phsyboy 100%. Android G1 is a huge disappointment as well. If I wasn't locked up in contract I would move to AT&T already! Evil or Very Mad

sell your G1 (the first G phone so not mature construction yet) on eBay and buy yourself some Windows Mobile phone instead and use it with T-Mobile's SIM card then!

Unfortunately that does not resolve the incredible slowness of EDGE network that T-Mobile USA customers are forced to have to use. There is no current unlocked 3G phone that will work on T-Mobile's 3G network.

T-Mobile USA = crap service and crap phones. It is an ugly infected mole on the face of DT, German parent company.

first of all, t-mobile's edge is not supressed or slowed down and i have found at $20 for unlimited data was actually better speeds than att. att's edge is a joke. and now the new stories of them using most of their 2g equipment for 3g it is even worse. the android g1 was a smart move for tmobile. they are the first one out of the block and we all know in the coming months of pay apps we will be getting what we want very soon. and yes i like windows mobile as well, my old dash is still my standby phone that does everything... exchange, voice guidence gps with co pilot 7, and sling media with wifi and sometime video as well on 2g. the form factor of the dash is great... i love the keyboard. it just works!

This would be exactly why the US is behind almost every G8 country in mass proliferated technology. Utter complacency with menial technological advances that continuously drain ROI to almost nothing. Bravo US citizens, here's to going from "Shooting for the Stars" to "Eh, a mole hill is higher than flat land..." Way to give in to corporate greed, lol.
