| Nokia don't own UIQ. UIQ is infact a competitor to Nokia's S60. For short, there was fragmentation in Symbian land. But now these Major Phone manufacturers decide to unify and open-source Symbian which will turn it into Symbian Foundation. See? It will make Symbian more favorable contrary to your statement. |

Sounds to me like those nice folks at UIQ needed to grow a pair and be competitive in this market.
Nowhere in your article do you link UIQ's failure with their use of Symbian. What is the causal chain here? Couldn't UIQ have just as easily failed using WM or Android? Your article appears to be a bunch of unsupported axe-grinding. _________________ good titles are misleading!
