"inveting 44 US dollars"
I'm guessing this is wrong on two counts, at the very least :p |

N-trig is an interesting company and is one of a very few that have managed to tackle the challenge
of registering both capacitive “touch” and precision “pen” input in a single display.
Though the technology has so far only been demonstrated on PC size screens, would be interesting
to see if Microsoft’s investment will extend the technology to mobile devices or even if its possible
given power/material constraints.
Would certainly improve the PPC touch capabilities to truly encompass pen+touch a feature that
should be in WinMo7, but that’s only wishful thinking. |

This is the issue with MS: it is with wishful thinking that we come to this site. It is through wishful thinking that we even own WM phones.
Let's see if they deliver on wishes now. |

Sounds great! At last capacitive screens are coming to WinMo... they're so much better for, say, scrolling around a web page, activating links etc. than resistive screens... this is why I, currently, only use an iPhone for web browsing, while, technically, the latest (e.g. Samsung Omnia) Opera Mobile builds are FAR superior to it, it's just that resistive screens make browsing, scrolling, link tapping etc. really painful. |
