| I have to agree with you on this Edward, Ballmer and Microsoft are currently out of touch with the mobile consumer. At the start of the year I dropped windows mobile and jumped to Android with the thinking of moving back at the end of next year when WM 7 comes out. Though Android is great and I have a few apps in the market place. Though Ballmer or Microsoft have not shifted his/their thinking. The reason the smart phone market is growing is because ordinary mobile consumers are shifting to smart phones. These people do not care about active directory support. They want a media device, that has games, that has twitter/facebook etc. Out of every mobile app sold over 60% are games or media related so this has to be the focus of any successful device. |
