Actually HTC HD2 is approximately the same size as iPhone:
... so all those people whining that HTC HD2 is too big, that it cannot be placed in the pocket, etc., should shut up! The thing is, that HTC HD2 is ...

green-eyed monster? engadget has a much wider coverage (it's part of AOL) and is generally more respected. it also is less fanatical and blinkered most of the time and comes across as passionate rather than just plain attention-seeking. If I were a publicist from HTC, I wouldn't even lend you a device, let alone give you one |

no worries, I will not get anything from HTC because HTC takes part in bribery that I described here: http://msmobiles.com/mobius - they give freebies to mobius members. |

"all those people whining that HTC HD2 is too big (just because it has 4.3 inch display), that it cannot be placed in the pocket, etc., should shut up!"
Erm, what about those people who also think the iPhone is way too big? Should they also "shut up" because the HD2 is the same size as something they feel is way too big?
Oh, I forgot. No opinions contrary to yours allowed. I'll crawl back into my corner and shut up.

I don't want anything bigger (or wider) than my iPhone. Plus, add a case to the HD2 and your talking about something even more bulkier to hold. I had the opportunity to hold a Toshiba TG01 at the GDGT event some time ago and even though it was very thin, was very uncomfortable to hold because it was so wide.
I find that with the width of the iPhone, I can easily hold it with one hand and reach everywhere I need to with just my thumb - very good for one handed use.
While I agree that the HD2 will be a fine example of hardware design, I do think that it is a bit too big for my tastes.
Plus, let me know when I can plug ANY smartphone into my integrated car stereo system and view media content (Play lists) on my built in GPS display and control the device via my steering wheel controls. I love having the GPS navi commands automatically lower the media playing on the device to so that you can hear the commands. _________________ JNGold
