This is the death knell for Windows Mobile. Arima tried and failed to implement a bsquare BSP for i-mate and look where they ended up. The greatest problem in implementing a Windows Mobile phone is the bits Microsft do incorrectly. Getting them to fix their own issues is a constant headache. Most WM licencees already have a TAM who's job is to beat up developers until they fix the issues stopping the device working and shipping. Looks like all the WM TAM are out of a job now too.
Putting bsquare in the middle of that only leads to more frustration with Microsoft and WM as a platform and will drive OEM to Android faster than ANYTHING ELSE. I cannot see a single new OEM launching a WM phone via bsquare. How about bsquare get their own BSP to pass LTK first? |

BSquare is unknown only to those who do not know about CE operating systems and other MS embedded systems.
They have been a MS ally for about two decades. |
