Why have a higher resolution screen if all it is used for is stretching the fonts and icons????
The higher resolution should be used for MORE content not BIGGER content. |

The physical size of the display will be the same with higher resolution, so they needed to stretch the fonts and icons, but each individual application will be able to take advantage of high resolution, so don't worry! |

any link please?
no, you couldn't see exactly the same screenshots - maybe similar one - after all everybody can download emulator and make the screenshots - it was our intention only to convey the fact that emulators of Second Edition are now available! |

http://www.smartphone-web.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=402&mode=&order=0&thold=0 - they published the screenshots long time before you did it.
And first you blame" Why to rely on some snapshots of information, on some obscure screen shots"
Now you also publish these screenshots - but now, you are the one who came out with old and lame info! And as everey time, you try to avoid linking to other great smartphone sites and present these "news" as your own. |

...is the screen solution really the most important thing that needs to be fixed on windows powered smartphones? not as far as i can see! and also i dont need the microsoft symbol on my start button. what about fixing standby, bluetooth profiles and other dirty programmed parts of the os? thats definitly more needed that a higher solution on my home screen...
cheers, lutz |

unfortunately both Symbian and Palm OS already offered higher (than QVGA) resolutions, so Microsoft had to catch up in this area first. I agree that cathing up in other areas, particularly Bluetooth is also needed... |
