yes, I am very sure - click also on links, included in the article, of shops in UK or Germany! it uses 168 MHz!!!! not 200 !

I think MDA III (and other brands under which it will occur) will pretty much do the most of the work, as far as downing of HP iPAQ phones is concerned...

What's the big deal really? So it's a little slower? Reviews make it sounds like despite the processor speed it's still quite responsive. Personally the battery life is one of the biggest draws for me. WiFi + GSM + GPRS + Bluetooth + long battery life + good responsiveness? WHat more do you need? Or do you guys just play games and watch movies on your PDAs? Wink

Anyhow, I wouldn't be worried. Wink

It's probably to increase the battery life.

I'm sure people who really want faster CPU speed can overclock it with PocketHackMaster Smile

I really don't think that the Almighty is overly concerned about this.

i don't think OMAP CPU's are supported Sad

but it would be possible (just TI doesn't public the specifications). i saw a Palm overclocker which should work on OMAP's too.

Yes... just ask PocketHackMaster to make a Smartphone version (not sure if they have one yet) and support for OMAP.

After having ACTUALLY USED this phone for the past three days, I would suggest that your concerns about slower speeds are ill-founded. All normal functions are acceptable in terms of responsiveness and usability. The phone works very well and provides some great features in its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities and seamless switching between GPRS and Wi-Fi. Fonix VoiceDial works just fine and I plan to load up some additional programs to test a few other things.

Remember, it's not *always* about processor speed.
