| Why would you say that this product is a swindle? I would imagine that the DBAs in our organisation would find this product very useful indeed. |

Because they claim that they have software for Microsoft Smartphone while in fact they have only a simplified web application that give you access to database servers.
Of course such application could be useful for several companies, because management of database servers is one of the most important tasks in IT in corporations, but they should underline this fact, and not pretend that they have a client, a program, for Microsoft Smarthone.
Otherwise everybody who has written simplified web application could claim that he has an application for Microsoft Smartphone... |

This is a great product! It DOES work on a smartphone. Where do they say there is a client piece? If they say there is a client piece and there is not then "swindle" may be true but a strong word. I don't think they ever make this claim. . . . I read their FAQ and the software is "optimized for the smartphone". Even though it is web-based it renders exactly to the smartphone screen. It looks different on BlackBerry, on Palm, on PocketPC, and on smartphone.
What does it matter anyway? As long as you get valuable use out of the software you should buy it. Don't be such a geek! |
