This has absolutely nothing to do with GMail. Your title is misleading and this "tip" is not useful at all.

Also, have you ever tried using RDP over GPRS? It's unusable.

Over GPRS? This tip is intended for Wi-Fi and is very much usable - particularly nowadays, when Pocket PC devices with VGA display are spreading.

This has to be the most stupid system i have ever seen.

Why not just run something like PGtGM on your server (With authentication set on the server, not using username / password within c500) then simply just connect to the pop3 port on your server that you've setup with PGtGM

Been using it this way for ages. Your system is just stupid. RDP is a heavily bloated protocol which uses stupid amounts of data transfer. Just to get RDP working correctly you should dump TS and use Citrix metaframe anyway, this has better compression (and handles slower connections far easier)

This has to be the stupidest system I have ever seen just to read gmail emails.

Oh my God.. but.. it's a ironic thread? A ironic article?

Expand your thread saying that with a terminal server connection you can also check emule, dc++, using your documents, printing on home's printer.. and much more.. Neutral
