|
|
Jorgen Sundgot from Norway has been just invited to Möbius 2004 USA conference, but his writings are pitiful and his "reviews" are fakes - he uses 1 or 2 photos stolen from the website of the vendor (or operator) ...

jorgen sundgot has more intelligence and integrity in his fingernail clippings than you could ever have, you pathetic little worm.
seriously, even if he was "stealing" photos, how do you have any room to talk? |

apart from stealing photos (and not presenting REAL photos of devices, but just prepared ones from the website of the vendor) he is also writing superficially, without showing deep insight and knowledge about what he is writing - I have proven it by showing that he didn't explain the processor generation issue (PX263, not the contemporary PXA270).
so there's a lot of room, mate. |

Even IF Jorgen's reviews are "fake" or not full of content, what's the reason in pointing it out??
Instead of concentrating on what other sites are writing about, how about just concentrating on your OWN news stories. How about just concentrating on doing your OWN reviews, instead of pointing fingers and calling out everyone else. Readers don't want to come here and hear about you not being invited to some conference. They WANT to read about the latest smartphones and PPCPE devices.
Have alittle faith in your readers that they can deduce on their own if another site or writers stories have no meat to them.
The name of your site is msmobiles.com.
Not thatguysreviewsarefake.com.
You have a great site here with the opportunity to get hands on with the latest tech and industry news. There's no reason to turn it into a childish game, telling the teacher on the next student who is "cheating" on a test.
Take this great opportunity and run with it! I'm sure your visitor count would greatly increase, as well as readers respect for your work.
Had to get that off my chest. I've been wanting to comment on this for the past year since finding this site. |

Microsoft invites Jorgen Sundgot to Moebius 2004 USA despite the fact that he is lame. That's the reason. |

Repeatedly you make negative comments against the people in your own industry, you insult all of us when you write about how soon microsoft mobile will take over Symbian os AND then you tell us that micsoft does not even care about Mobile. Your writing is much like a 10 year old who has to miss sports practice and stay after school to write his book report.
You English is childlike, your attiitude is inmature and certainly not like any professional I know. Do you go home every night and forget what happened the day before like a movie character. Your writing lacks any sense on continuity, judging any piece of software from your comments is impossible. You 'gush' over software that is insignificant and write blandly about some fairly powerful products. If you want Microsoft to invite you to their parties, I suspect you need to become a 'professional writer'. |

My first post and an attempt at something constructive, given the vast majority of traffic here is justifiably negative.
This website is useful and generally aggregates interesting tidbits of industry information. Thanks.
For this particular article, why not focus on why Jorgen Sundgot rated the MDA III and XDA IIs differently when they are the same device....which could have lead to an interesting comparison of the carriers and what they offer to users of Microsoft-based mobile devices?
Take the advice of your readers while you still have some. There is no shame in behaving more professionally and you may even start getting invitations to industry meetings and the like. This would help you in terms of networking and allow you to build some credibility.
You can choose to pay for transport/hotels or accept freebies if they are offered......it's your choice and you set your own ethical standard. Make sure it is high.
You seem to be halfway there, halfway decent, half smart with a a website that is half useful, but will never graduate and earn any respect until the racist, libelous and frequently childish ranting ceases. Good luck. GDM |

er... do you actually think he's INFORMING consumers? or is he just bashing anyone who disagrees with him??? he attacks nokia, symbian, microsoft, other websites, other phone manufacturers, even russia and finland. he gives news scoops that he pushes on people as gospel truth, but he doesn't even give any sources, dammit!
would you believe someone who says "George Bush and John Kerry actually worked together behind the curtains to ensure that Dubya would win by a hair. But I can't tell you my sources."? Nope, didn't think so.
(Ok, that example might be a bit extreme...but you get my point.) |
