As of now the information is: no.
So to get HTC Magician you would need to buy it online as "i-mate JAM" or "Qtek S100". That's the situation for near future. |

I saw a screen shot of an on-screen T9 software on the MDA Compact in another forum. Can you tell me more about this, and how well it works. It looks like one of the coolest input methods I've ever seen on a PPC.
Also, is it really easy to navigate around the MDA Compact's screen with your thumb in one hand? |

| In the screen shot, it shows the SDA Music with Windows Media Player 10. Does it ship with this then or is the AudioVox the only HTC Device with Windows Media Player? |

| Does the MDA Compact support A2DP, for example will it allow streaming music to stereo bluetooth headphones? |

wow may i ask when is the full review is coming?
IMO these are not big for what they can accomplish. MDA Compact (aka i-mate JAM) looks really sweet hopefully a thumb keyboard will be developed for it |

hi there -
"Intellipad"-description & screenshots added. mda compact made photos added.
and yes, the sanisk mini wifi sd card + 256 mb storage works without any problem! latest drivers are available at sandisk homepage.
cheers, lutz
ps: this is a foto shoot out and no classic review - i guess most features of windows mobile 2003 se are known already - no bigger surprises in the new devices. |

|
|
I currently have the C500 on Orange. Whilst it's a huge improvement on the old E200, I am still not totally convinced on it's stability. It still hangs/crashes requiring a reboot, although now infrequently,it always happens at the worst time - usually just after receiving a new text message, and crashes b4 you can read it, then you loose the text when you reboot.
anyway, my questions are;
how stable is the MDA?
battery life on MDA compared to C500?
how easy is it to dial numbers, text (t9?) on the MDA without using the stylus, and one handed?
is it easier to get bluetooth activesync working on the MDA? still cannot get it working on my C500!
i also have an Apple Powerbook G4 and would love to be able to sync with my PC and my Mac. I've tried Pocketmac Smartphone edition but no success. I hear that the PocketPC version of it works much better. Has anyone had any experience? |

It would be interesting to see if the Magician has enough computing power for handling Skype/Skypeout communications through the sandisk hybrid card... any hint ?
