No.....actually they won't. Anyone with a bit of sense will realize what a CROCK it is to have a screen at 240x240 on a Pocket PC. I mean, HELLO, it's 2005 ! Not 1999. If that unit releases with a screen at a resolution LOWER than the resolution at which HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of other PPC's have shipped at, it'll see an unceremonious cessation of sales. It'll come in with a POP and out with a squeak.
I mean seriously HP ! Add all the wonderful features that EVERYONE has been clamoring for, and then WHACK the consumer over the head with a less than standard display resolution. Of course, TMobile will carry it, because of course Carly Fiorina RULES at TMobile. I wonder what horse deal HP came up with to get TMobile to sell the HP 6315 (sluggish processor, half the ram, crummy BT implementation) instead of bringing their own MDA-II ( and III ) over to this side of the water. It's not like there aren't English ROMS for those things.
Like the police man said at the scene of the crime, "Nothing to see here folks, move along....move along !" |
