According to German press Vodafone will start selling in EU the long-awaited, already released in USA but not yet launched in Europe, Motorola MPx220 phone.

Motorola MPx 220 came available in Finland January 28th. And Finland IS part of EU so your news is wrong.
edit: Now the lowest price for the phone is 405€ |

And it's available in Switzerland too - although not in EU but in Europe

But indeed, not yet in Germany neither in Belgium..

Vodaphone is not present in all the EU countries.. So if they say they will sell it in EU, for them, that's means in the countries where vodaphone is present..  |

Exactly! And in finland Vodafone is not present, so now everything is clear. |
