Yes, there will be CDMA version however much later. GSM version (combined with UMTS/WCDMA standard of 3G) has priority because T-Mobile and Orange ordered these phones already in big amounts and will be selling it as T-Mobile MDA IV and 3G SPV. |

Might just be me, but it looks absolutely enormous... I could live with one less camera and a smaller keyboard. The volume of empty fascia around the screen seems an awful waste.
Also, any word on the two things I really want? Firstly, dual sim ability - if I'm lugging that thing around I want it to be both my personal and work unit, and I want to be able to have both lines on at the same time.
Secondly, I'd like it to be a DAB digital radio so I can listen to the cricket via it.
It's got to be very special indeed to warrant carrying something even bigger than the Blue Angel. |

This device looks very good but I guess the only negative thing, just as my first impression, is the missing ID caller screen.
It will be very stupid to open the device every time you have a call. |

Well if you want you can just always keep the device in PDA-mode with the screen facing out. For a while I was complaining about the lack of answer and call buttong in PDA-mode but the last picture showed the location (at the hindge) which is kind of weird |

|
|
It's good to note that Nokia is one of the only companies that actually manufactures localized versions of their QWERTY keyboard. There are for example different keyboards in Nokia 9300/9500 for Germany, Greece, Finland, Sweden and a few other countries / languages.
It's a bit sad that even a Japan and Sweden based company like SonyEricsson only offers one keyboard layout in their P910 smartphone.
Microsoft still doesn't offer native support for Scandinavian letters (ä, ö and å). The result is that it's very difficult to type these letters in especially Pocket PC devices. Good news is that John Starkweather from Microsoft promised there will be new localization support in Windows Mobile in the near future. He didn't reveal any details, though. |
