Sad Sad
Oh no! This is terrible news for Windows Mobile Fans! I am truly sorry but I cannot wait till then to get an UMTS phone. Therefore I will probably try out the new Motorola A1000 once which is about the size of MDA Compact and can do quite a lot of things....

I cannot understand why Microsoft cannot speed up things a little bit. I am sure HTC Universal is "ready" but certainly Magneto (Windows Mobile 2005) is not.....

It's not Microsoft's fault, the Universal will not run on the Magneto (I think). So it's probably HTC's.

Let's bet Smile
No seriously I think there is quite a lot to do for Microsoft Windows Mobile to support UMTS core functions. They have to program e.g. the videotelephony features, live tv functions, etc ... I don't know if they are going to integrate all these features back (backport) to Windows Mobile 2003 SE, I mean it makes more sense to directly bring them to WM2005! I understand they need time and maybe its good that they test extensively to bring a mature product to the market. Yesterday I tested the Symbian Motorola A1000 and I have to say its not stable or mature at all........

Regards,
Rainer

I guess this is normal with all HTC products.

I would be surprised if really this product will appear in time!!!!!
