Vodafone VPA III already had Wi-Fi and slide out keyboard but Vodafone v1620 (new name! without typical for Vodafone "VPA") adds faster processor and more improvements.

Well, is the 520mhz much faster than the 400mhz I have got now.

I can't see it making much difference. I would rather have my little slidey keyboad. I don't think anyone gets their PDA to do some hard number crunching and I can't see tomtom working out the route much quicker.

After all, maybe the bottle neck in applications could be the memory or the memory speed.

I wouldn't care if the speed was 2 ghz or 200mhz. I can wait the extra second for the application to open or an extra 5 seconds for the route to be worked out.

I think you should look at the reasons people buy a PDA. We don't hold large databases and do intense programming on it. Sat nav, check the odd word/excel document, check the football scores on the internet, play solitaire on the toilet, add bits to our diary and ring people/text.

200 or 2000mhz isn't going to make much difference to these and like I say - maybe processor speed isn't the deciding factor.
